Cannabis branding can be simply summarized in one sentence:

…Figuring out who you are, figuring out who you aren’t, and then figuring out who they are (future, and competitors), and then successfully communicating what you do, to win them (clients, and competitors’ clients) over to your side.

Understanding how to communicate your magical differentiators in a simple, elegant delivery (logo, brand voice, messaging) is the goal. But staring down the barrel of a future brand or rebrand can be a stressor: you are faced with brutal truth (who are you?), the process of elimination (who you aren’t), but you can’t be sitting next to your customer on a daily basis, educating them about your value proposition. You need to be clean, fast, nimble, and respectful of your customer’s time: get in and get out, but leave an indelible mark. Squad goals include: building a memorable logo, strategy, and voice that will last a decade or more, and withstand the shifting sands of style trends. Plus, you need to look as good, or better, than the competitors who keep you up at night (the ones with the huge budgets, and speaking at TED conferences). We get it. We have walked in your shoes.
