What: Operation Aisle Style
…an event and contest in the spirit of ‘Project Runway’ to celebrate the 3-book, bestselling Anti-Bride series — the first to market ‘alterna-bridal’ pop cultural wedding book series created by Carolyn Gerin and co-authors. In partnership with the W Hotel, the Art Institute of San Francisco/California, Destination I Do Magazine, and Austin Scarlett of Project Runway. OAS was a student fashion show challenge to create a POV dress with the caveat that it could not be white and needed to contextually communicate more than wedding. A student grant, sponsored gala event, and a full fashion show of Austin Scarlett’s gowns were featured to a packed house.
Deliverables: Brand, design, illustrations, messaging, advertising/promo, sponsorships, event and fashion show production, go-to-market strategy.
